CALHOUN, Ga. - Ridgeland High lost a heart breaker to defending state champion Calhoun on Friday night in the closing seconds. Despite the 42-35 loss and a second half battle with leg cramps, class of 2013 safety prospect Vonn Bell made his presence known.

The No. 24 prospect in the country according to 247Sports, who currently favors Ohio State and Tennessee over Alabama, Georgia, Vanderbilt Clemson and Texas, played safety, receiver, covered punts and returned punts and kick offs on Friday.

the kid is amazing . OSU has way too many great players , you guys need to gift this one to the Vols as we are way down on talent

We are going to have a full update on Monday. IMO, Ohio State, Tennessee and Alabama are the for sure official visits. Ohio State first school out of his mouth.

If I had to guess just based on talking to him, Ohio State would be my pick right now. Like Gerry said, it just always seems to be the first school to come out of his mouth.

This has been the kid I wanted most, I don't see why Alabama would need him. They're just some greedy folks down south.
If Bell doesn't choose to go to Ohio St, then hopefully he goes to UT.
I know Ohio St will run through their weak schedule this season, gain a lot of momentum in the recruiting trail. Which is going to help us land these type of recruits
