For the second consecutive recruiting cycle, Alabama finishes on top the 247Sports team football recruiting rankings and claims the mythical recruiting national title.

Nick Saban just won his second national title in three years at Alabama and the Tide signed the nation's top recruiting class for the second consecutive cycle.
The Crimson Tide finished with 781.44 points and signed four five star players and 15 four star players and had an average numerical rating of 93.27 in their class.
Also for the second consecutive recruiting cycle, Florida State, barring four-star quarterback Jameis Winston (Hueytown, Ala.) electing to sign elsewhere (he did not sign with the Seminoles on National Signing Day) will finish No. 2.
The No. 3 spot currently belongs to Texas, but either Florida or Ohio State could jump the Longhorns should either land five-star receiver Stefon Diggs (Olney, Md./Good Counsel), who will announce his decision and sign next Friday (Feb. 10).
Should the Gators land Diggs, they would move into the No. 3 spot with 770.59 points. Likewise, the Buckeyes would jump Texas with the addition of Diggs as they would go to 769.79 points.
Georgia checks in at No. 6, followed by Stanford, Michigan, Oklahoma and Miami (Fla.). USC, LSU, Texas A&M, Oregon and South Carolina round out the Top 15 with Notre Dame, Auburn, UCLA, Tennessee and Virginia behind them and Rutgers, Clemson, Virginia Tech, Baylor and Cal rounding out the Top 25.
These exact placements are subject to change as players who elected to wait beyond signing day to sign with the school of their choice will commit/sign in the coming weeks.
