Wide receiver Angelo Jean-Louis backed out on a longstanding commitment to Miami (Fla.) on Monday and committed to the Thundering Herd. He took an official visit to Marshall this past weekend.
Sources say that Jean-Louis would have had trouble clearing admissions at the University of Miami.
Jean-Louis enjoyed a standout high school career at Palm Beach Central High, signed with the Canes in the 2012 class before heading to Fork Union after failing to qualify academically.
Jean-Louis is commitment No. 9 for the Herd.
