Fort Wayne (Ind.) South Side defensive end Nathan Braster visited Ball State on Wednesday and reported to 247Sports that the Cardinals extended him a scholarship.
“I’m excited I got my first offer,” Braster said.
“I liked everything about Ball State. Their campus is really great and I liked how everything was close knit there. There is a real family essence there.”
“Great coaching staff,” Braster said. “I really liked Coach Wilt a lot. He was really cool.”
Next up for Braster he said was a trip to Michigan State over spring break. He visited Bowling Green on March 11.
As a junior, Braster registered 56 tackles, 10.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception.
