One of the top uncommitted players in the country is 5-star John 'Juju' Smith. Credit the nation's No. 20 overall player (per 247Sports Composite) for keeping things close to his vest.
There is a lot of smoke surrounding the perceived USC lean, regarding Oregon. The answer which comes in a few days will reveal if it is just that , smoke or not.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound prep has four schools on his crystal ball predictions page. USC, Oregon, Notre Dame and UCLA.
Most will agree the Bruins have little to no shot here. Oregon currently only has 6-percent of the 48 picks. USC leads the way 73-percent of the votes with Notre Dame totaling up the final 19-percent.
The top USC predictors include FightOn247 publisher Scott Schrader and VarsityPreps.com Demetric Warren both in favor of the Trojans.
The top Notre Dame predictors include Steve Wiltfong and Tom Loy. Loy has his locked in for the Irish, but Wiltfong just updated his to cloudy after favoring the Irish since October.
Oregon lead predictors include myself and Matt Prehm. I have been very close to updating mine from USC to Oregon, while Prehm led the change on Jan. 29 for the Ducks.
The last seven crystal ball picks (discounting Wiltfong's cloudy pick) are split three a piece for Oregon and USC and one pick for the Irish.
Clearly this will be one of the more intriguing announcements on national signing day.
