Best Of Midwest Combine Results

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Best of the Midwest Combine on Monday hosted some of the area’s top prospects.

247Composite five-star CB Marshon Lattimore ran 4.48 and 4.49 in the 40-yard dash.

Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville 247Composite five-star cornerback Marshon Lattimore was named the event's top performer by 247Sports, and judging by his numbers below, he also tested very well.

The receivers/tight ends group had several prospects shine led by the event’s No. 2 overall performer in Bo Hines, who picked up an offer from N.C. State on Wednesday. Others that had strong testing performances includes Fishers (Ind.) High junior J’Shun Harris, Gary (Ind.) West Side teammates Jon Vea’ Johnson and four-star Lonnie Johnson, Detroit (Mich.) King's Avonte Maddox, Indianapolis (Ind.) Cathedral's Terry McLaurin and Fishers (Ind.) Hamilton Southeastern’s Cameron Polk.

Four-star Ohio defensive backs Darius West of Lima (Ohio) Catholic and Erick Smith of Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville and Fort Wayne (Ind.) Carroll’s Drue Tranquill joined Lattimore as three more of the top testers among the defensive backs.

Upper Arlington (Ohio) High linebacker Chris Frey was the top tester among his position group and Indianapolis (Ind.) Roncalli junior Nick Neu emerged as a possible prospect to watch down the road as a potential hybrid player.

Saint Paul (Minn.) Cretin Derham Hall sophomore defensive end Jashon Cornell tested like the future blue-chipper he’ll be.
