Charlotte (N.C.) Christian School receiver Bo Hines has N.C. State in his top two along with Nebraska and he visited the Wolfpack campus on Thursday for another look.
The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Hines made the trip with his father.
“I liked it a lot,” Hines said. “It went really well.
“Obviously their facilities are unbelievable. I got to go on campus a little bit and I really liked the campus. I really like the school.”
“I really enjoyed talking to them,” Hines recapped. “They said they want to recruit players they feel they can win a National Championship with and they want to recruit the best in-state guys and get those guys locked up. We talked about how they need to own the state and talked about different roles there and how I could affect the program. We talked about how I could play early there which was pretty cool.
“They want to get it rolling for in-state.”
The next scheduled trip for Hines will be to Nebraska on March 30. He also has a trip set with Ole Miss for April 6. A decision could come shortly after those visits.
As a junior, Hines caught 45 passes for 794 yards and seven touchdowns. He added another two scores rushing and one by return. Last season on the track, Hines finished second in the state in the 100-meter dash.
