Class of 2014 wide receiver Jamil Kamara picked up offers from BC and Marshall recently.
One of the known top prospects in the Class of 2014 in the state of Virginia, wide receiver Jamil Kamara (Virginia Beach, Va./Princess Anne) has picked up two more verbal offers in recent weeks, according to Princess Anne assistant coach Alex Rayner.
Marshall and Boston College are the latest offers for the 6-foot-2, 190-pounder, who has been starting for his high school team since his freshman year. The pair joins Virginia, Virginia Tech, Vanderbilt and Richmond in offering.
At this early stage, Kamara is an in-state lean to the Cavaliers or Hokies.
Rayner said there currently are no unofficial visits planned (they were at Virginia Tech for the North Carolina game in November), but that they hope to visit Boston College unofficially for a basketball game (or junior day) this winter.
Kamar has been on the radar since an outstanding performance at the Badger Sport 7-on-7 this past February at Rutgers. He’s a big-bodied, athletic player with good hands and speed.
