Brett Nelson committed to Louisville on Sunday.
The good news continued for Louisville on Sunday. Following the commitment of three-star Florida athlete Richard Benjamin (Tampa, Fla./Middleton), the Cardinals picked up junior college quarterback Brett Nelson (Chula Vista, Calif./Southwestern C.C.).
"I verbally committed to Louisville this morning, it's awesome," Nelson told InsideTheVille.com. "It sounds like a good deal and I'm definitely going to take it. The offense they run is pretty much the same offense I've been running the last years of my life. I'm happy. It felt right and I couldn't ask for anything better."
Nelson is rated an 81 by 247Sports, which equates to three stars.
