Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic linebacker Cameron Queiro announced his college intentions on Thursday evening.
"One of the great days of my life," Queiro said. "Proud to be committed to Northwestern and ready to become a future Wildcat."
The 6-foot-1, 207-pound Queiro becomes commit No. 3 for Northwestern in the class-of-2014, joining quarterback Clayton Thorson and safety Jordan Thomas. He chose the Wildcats over offers from Pittsburgh and Vanderbilt.
Queiro's older brother Kyle signed with the Wildcats in 2013.
"He's a great player and great kid," Bergen Catholic coach Nunzio Campanile said.
