UConn has added a second big man.
UConn has added a diamond in the rough as its third recruit in the 2013 class.
A 6-11, 205-pound center from Miami (Fla.) Archbishop Carroll High School, Amida Brimah has tweeted that he committed to Connecticut while on his official visit there this weekend.
Also being recruited by Miami and Wake Forest, Brimah has a raw skill set but is a shot blocker with upside.
He joins four-star power forward Kentan Facey and three-star point guard Terrence Samuel in Connecticuts recruiting class. The Huskies will move from No. 41 to No. 38 in the 2013 team recruiting rankings.
A three-star prospect according to 247Sports, Brimah has a 247Composite ranking of No. 253.
