Toledo (Ohio) Central Catholic Top100 class-of-2014 quarterback DeShone Kizer reported to 247Sports that Louisville is the latest program to offer.

The Cardinals join Boston College, Syracuse, Bowling Green and Toledo in extending an early scholarship to the 6-foot-5, 207-pound Kizer, who checks in as the nation’s No. 3 dual-threat quarterback and No. 91 prospect overall.
Louisville has a commitment from Kizer’s class of 2013 teammate Keith Towbridge.
“It’s pretty cool we have two guys offered from the same school, and with Keith Towbridge being committed there, that connection would always be there if I made the decision to go there.”
Towbridge quickly got in the ear of Kizer.
“He let me know they run a West Coast offense and my style of quarterback play is the type of quarterback they like and want in recruiting. Their starting guy is a sophomore now and when I come in he’d be a senior and I’d get that year behind him and go from there.”
Cincinnati could be the next school to offer Kizer, and this summer he has definite plans to camp at Michigan and Ohio State, and possibly Penn State.
Kizer was named a 247Sports 2014 First Team All-American after the fall. He passed for close to 1,200 yards and 10 touchdowns while rushing for over 500 yards and four more scores.
