Despite other attempts, Stringfellow said he will sign with Washington in February.
The Huskies got an impressive commitment when Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde wide receiver Demorea Stringfellow chose them in June. Since that time it's been a battle for Washington to keep the 6-foot-3, 190-pound prep in the fold with him adding new offers and taking numerous visits.
The nation's No. 137 overall player has visited UCLA and Nebraska and was also considering a trip to Ohio State.
However, last night he informs me he is shutting down the recruiting process and won't be taking any other visits.
"I'm done with visits and I'm done with recruiting," Stringfellow said. "I love the family type of environment up there and I'm real close with the coaching staff. I'm going to sign in February and I'm done."
Yesterday the Trojans were on campus to evaluate Stringfellow but despite that attempt, he continued to state he was finished with the recruiting process.
He is currently training and preparing for the Under Armour All-American game in early January.
"I can't wait to get out there and do my best against the best players in the country."
