Former all-pro defensive back Eric Allen coaching up young prospects was one of the highlights of the Juniorrank Diamond Flight Camp this past weekend in San Diego.
The event featured nearly 100 prospects from Southern California.
Class of 2013 receiver Devin Ross and Class of 2014 receiver Dvonte McKneely (Corona, Calif./Centennial) were the two Most Valuable Players of the event.
Allen’s son, Austin Allen (Chula Vista, Calif./Mater Dei) was one of the standouts at the event. The 5-foot-8, 165-pound defensive back is getting attention from San Diego State and Utah, among others.
