Offers rolling in for Bacon

Dwayne Bacon

At 6-6 Bacon does it all on the perimeter

Dwayne Bacon emerged out of the summer as one of the top prospects in 2015 Now the offers are rolling in.

So far Bacon, a 6-6, 190-pound three-position perimeter player out of Lakeland (Fla.) Mckeel Academy of Technology, has offers from Florida State, Baylor, Virginia Tech, South Florida, Old Dominion, Central Florida and Georgia Southern according to his travel team coach Diane Neal of the Showtime Ballers.

In addition to these offers, assistant coaches from Michigan, Tennessee, UCLA, Virginia and George Mason watched Bacon work out this fall.

Michigan is on the docket for an unofficial visit this summer, and Florida State has already hosted Bacon on an official visit.

A physical player with quality ball handling skills and a versatile game, Bacon can raise his stock even further if he extends his shooting range.

"Dwayne can play the one through the three position," said Coach Neal. "He handles the ball well and can shoot consistently from the perimeter. He has proven to be one of the top 2015 players in the country. Dwayne is a do it all player that any coach would love to have."
