How do I access my user account information on 247Sports?
To access your user account information, click on the “My Account” link at the top right of the site located in between the sign out link and private message inbox.
How do I update the e-mail address associated with my 247Sports account?
Click on the “My Account” link and then click on the “Plans” tab. Enter your updated e-mail address and click save. This will now be the e-mail address you use to log into 247Sports.
How do I change my username on 247Sports?
To change your username, contact customer support at email@example.com and provide your current user name along with the new user name you wish to use on 247Sports. In case your first choice is already taken, it’s recommended you also included a second and third option in your e-mail.
Why did my username change?
On December 27, 2012, we made a code change where usernames that contained special characters such as @, %, $, &, ., where replaced by numerals. To edit your user name, simply e-mail customer support at firstname.lastname@example.org with your current username and e-mail address along with your top three choices for your new username.
How do I change my password on 247Sports?
Click on the “My Account” link and then click on the “Password” tab. Enter your current password along with your new password and click save. (Passwords are case sensitive and must be at least 6 characters.)
How do I retrieve the password on my account?
Click on the Forgot Password link at the bottom of any 247Sports web page.
When is my subscription set to renew?
Click on the “My Account” link and then click on the “Plans” tab. Your renewal date will be listed in the subscription section for the site that you are currently subscribed to.
How do I update my billing information?
To update your billing information, click on the “My Account” link and then click on the “Plans” tab. On the credit card that is attached to your active subscription, click “update”. Update your billing information and click save.
To add or switch the credit card associated with your active subscription, click on the “add new card” link. Add your new credit card. Once the card is added, click on the “change” link next to your active subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription to 247Sports?
E-mail customer support at email@example.com and provide your name, user name and e-mail address associated with the account. If you want to avoid a subscription renewal, you must cancel 72 hours prior to the end of the then current subscription period. If you sign up for a free trial or take advantage of an extended free trial, you must cancel 24 hours prior to the end of your free trial to avoid automatic charges associated with beginning your subscription. 247Sports customer support is staffed between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM (CT) Monday – Friday.
How do I stop recurring billing for my subscription?
To stop recurring billing on your account, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org and provide your name, user name and e-mail address associated with your account.
How do I purchase a gift subscription to 247Sports?
Contact customer support at email@example.com to receive instructions on how to purchase a gift subscription.
What forms of payment does 247Sports accept?
247Sports currently accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. If you would like to use another form of payment, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
I am a premium subscriber. Why can’t I access VIP content or posts?
There are a number of reasons why you may not be able to access VIP articles or posts. The most common reason is that you may have a generic 247Sports subscription instead of a team specific subscription. To find out the type of subscription you have, click on the “My Account” link and then click on the “Plans” tab. To change your site subscription, contact email@example.com
Another reason could be that your account has lapsed, meaning that we could not charge the credit card you have on file on your renewal date. To re-activate your account, see updating billing information above.
Finally if you are a member of a partner site that joined 247Sports and did not transfer your billing information over to the new site during the transition, you will only have access to premium articles on your specific team site. To gain access to premium content across the network, when logged into the site click on the banner “Give me my 30 days” to complete the final step of the merge process.

Why am I blacklisted/banned?
If you are blacklisted or banned from a specific site, please contact the moderators or administrators of that specific site via e-mail or private message.
How do I private message a user?
There are two locations to send a user a private message. First you can access your private message inbox at the top right of the site to the left of the “My Account” link. Secondly, you can click on the white envelope below a user's user name within a post on the board.
How many users can I include in one private message?
You can include up to 10 users when sending a private message.
How do I ignore a user?
To ignore a user, click on the circle with a slash icon located below the user name on one of their posts on the board.
How do I turn off signatures?
To turn off a signature, click on the turn off signatures button at the top right of the message board.
What happens when I follow a user or follow a board?
If you follow a user, you then can set a filter at the top of the board to only show posts from users that you are following. This is useful if you just want to read posts from the insiders/experts on the site.
If you follow a board, the board will then appear under the tab for “my boards” at the top of the message board. Then you can easily jump to one of the boards that you follow.
How many votes does a user receive?
A user receives a total of 25 votes (20 up votes and 5 down votes) per day.
What does it mean if the down vote button is grayed out?
There are two possible reasons why a down vote button will be disabled. First, if you registered on a site other than your home team site, the down vote button will be disabled. To switch your home site, contact customer support at firstname.lastname@example.org. Secondly, if you use a higher ratio of down votes to up votes per day, your number of down votes will decrease which may leave you with zero down votes.
