It's down to the wire for everyone as this recruiting season comes to an end on Wednesday.
Vanderdoes takes his final official visit to Alabama this weekend.
There are still a number of high-profile recruits looking to make their pledge, and several schools scrambling to sign them.
Let's take a quick look at the bigger story lines headed into the final weekend.
Can USC get Vanderdoes back?
Five-star defensive lineman Eddie Vanderdoes will take his final trip to Alabama today. The one-time USC commit has gone underground after visiting Notre Dame last weekend. This trip means everything for the Tide who remain the dark horse in this race. You could ask four different analysts where they predict Vanderdoes, and get four different answers. Personally I believe he will sign with USC but Notre Dame, UCLA and Alabama are all a viable threat.
While we are talking USC the Trojans have only a few spots left and not much time to fill them. However their biggest issue might be who they can and can't take. Will they be able to hold on to Jalen Ramsey and Torrodney Prevot? Can they get Vanderdoes and Fitts to re-commit? Perhaps the Trojans strike new blood with Montravius Adams, Quinton Powell or Matthew Thomas among others.
USC is certainly one of the more interesting story lines to monitor with less than a week until signing day.
Washington hopes to 'wow' Robinson twins
Oregon fans will wait with baited breath as two of their prized commits head North to Seattle. Tyree and Tyrell Robinson will take their final trip before making their commitment permanent on signing day. It's expected Oregon should be able to hang on here, but anything goes in the game of recruiting late in January.
Kylie Fitts will take his final trip to Utah this weekend.
Will UCLA finish strong?
The Bruins will have a quiet weekend in Westwood, giving Bruins coaches a chance to visit their remaining targets one last time. Isaac Savaiinaea, Kyle Fitts, Asiantii Woulard, Patrick Enewally and Cornelius Elder along with Vanderdoes and others are seriously considering UCLA. Don't be surprised to see the Bruins finish very strongly next week as they ride the momentum of the Priest Willis and Tahaan Goodman commitments.
Kylie Fitts is also visiting Utah this weekend. He may take a quick tour of USC and/or UCLA upon his return.
Several key recruits to announce on signing day
Cameron Hunt and L.J. Moore are two high profile recruits that plan on committing on signing day. Five-star Eddie Vanderdoes will as well, making him one of the marquee recruits to monitor as well. Four-star Isaac Savaiinaea will make his commitment on national signing day as well, the Bruins look in favorable position here.
Who should be on 'flip watch?'
The Arizona State Sun Devils will have their hands full trying to keep Joshua Dobbs, one of their key commits in the 2013 class. Washington is hot under the collar hoping they don't lose long-time defensive end commit Daeshon Hall. The Ducks are also in a dog-fight with Ohio State to hang on to Dontre Wilson as he visits Texas this weekend.
The Cal Bears are hoping to keep two of their commits from heading to Eugene as Cameron Hunt and Johnny Ragin both look hard at the Ducks. This could be a blow to first-year head coach Sonny Dykes if he happens to lose these two key recruits.
