Haddock is now committed to Temple.
McKees Rocks (Pa.) Montour defensive tackle Tyler Haddock committed to Kent State back in April, but didn't completely shut down his recruitment.
Haddock camped at Temple this weekend and earned a scholarship offer from the Owls staff.
"I just wanted the offer and I earned it," Haddock said. "I don't just like Temple, I love Temple. The city, the coaching, the fans, the Linc. I just needed that market. I love having the chance to showcase myself in front of thousands and thousands of people. I have God-given ability and would have been proud to go to Kent State, but I felt like I needed bigger ball… BCS ball."
The 6-foot, 285-pound rising senior carries a three-star rating according to 247Sports and is the No. 34 player in the Keystone State. He's also the No. 57 defensive tackle nationally.
