With a knowledgeable staff, Hands On Training in the Cleveland area is picking up steam with many of the region’s top prospects coming in to get their workouts.
Bedford (OH) High CB Antoine Stone has four MAC offers and interest from several BCS programs.
Former Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville standouts Andre Evans, Jacory Stone and Curtis Terry have returned to their hometown following college careers at Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Michigan and Ohio State respectively to coach up and train local prospects.
247Sports paid a recent visit to Hands on Training and talked with Stone about some of their 2014 and 2015 recruits on the rise.
Dameon Willis, Safety/Linebacker, 6-0, 208, Cleveland St. Ignatius
Offers: Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Louisville, Ohio, Toledo, Western Michigan
Stone Comment: “Dameon is a kid that is very physical and very agile, but he doesn’t shy away from contact at all. Him as a linebacker, I like the fact he can get out in space and cover.”
Antoine Stone, Cornerback/Safety, 5-10, 183, Bedford High
Offers: Bowling Green, Buffalo, Kent State, Western Michigan
Stone Comment: “Antoine is a true safety playing corner. What gives him the ability to play corner is he has speed and good cover skills. The reason he’s a safety is he’s also physical as well. He’ll come down and hit you.”
Michael Siragusa, Receiver, 6-2, 200, Cleveland St. Ignatius
Stone Comment: “Siragusa is a kid that has a lot of speed but it’s deceiving because he has long legs. He can get up on you very quick, he’s a great catcher, doesn’t drop anything at all.”
Matthew Draper, Linebacker, 6-2, 200, Cleveland Glenville
Stone Comment: “Matthew is definitely a speedster. This past weekend he ran 4.52 in the 40 and he’s only in the 10th grade playing linebacker. I can only imagine what that’s going to be senior year.
Frank Sumpter, Receiver, 5-11, 155, Bedford High
Stone Comment: “This past weekend he ran 4.57 as a 10th grader. Frank is very quick. Corners can’t press him because of his natural quickness. He catches the ball well and doesn’t drop anything.”
Hands on Training will be taking their kids to several camps this summer including Toledo on June 13, Pittsburgh on June 15, Cincinnati on June 16, Louisville on June 17, Kentucky on June 18 and Michigan on June 20.
