Princeton (N.J.) Hun School defensive back Abdul Majeed ended the recruiting process by signing with Navy on Wednesday. He committed to the Midshipmen on Tuesday.
"I signed with the Naval Academy on National Signing Day," said Majeed. "I am very excited about the opportunity to join the Midshipmen and play big time football at one of the best academic institutions in the world.
"It's really an honor and a privilege to have been selected to attend the Naval Academy and have an opportunity to play football there."
The 5-foot-10, 180-pound prospect also had a scholarship offer from Maine. He also garnered interest from Army, Georgia Tech, Michigan State, Penn State, Purdue and others.
Majeed was a two-time all-Prep selection in New Jersey. He led the Hun School in tackles in 2012.
He is rated a two-star prospect by 247Sports.
