Peoria (Ill.) Richwoods running back Kendrick Foster picked up his first BCS offer from Illinois on Wednesday.
“They’re my top interest right now,” Foster said. Illinois State has also offered the 5-foot-9, 185-pound junior who rushed for 2,421 yards and 33 touchdowns during the fall.
Foster will visit Illinois on Friday for a spring practice.
“They’re a family there,” Foster said. “They really love in-state Illinois people. I have a great relationship pretty much with the whole coaching staff. Every time I’m on campus, I feel comfortable, and it’s close to home so that’s a positive.”
Foster visited Northern Illinois this past weekend.
“I think I’m going to Indiana soon,” he added.
