Naperville (Ill.) Neuqua Valley receiver Mike Dudek is one of the more exciting playmakers in the state of Illinois.
Dudek visited Illinois over the weekend and heads to Wisconsin next.
Illinois has made him feel like a priority.
On Monday morning, the Illini offered the 5-foot-11, 175-pound Dudek a scholarship. He visited Champaign on Saturday and has been on campus several times in the past.
"I like it a lot up there," Dudek said. "It just feels right when I'm there. The new receiver coach had a great first impression on me!"
As a junior, Dudek used his 4.4 speed in the 40-yard dash to catch 46 passes for 991 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also returned three kickoffs for scores and has a 38-inch vertical.
Dudek feels he can have the same productivity in the Illinois offense.
"I love the spread they run with the two slot receivers," Dudek said.
North Dakota has also offered Dudek with the likes of Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Iowa State, Michigan State, Purdue and Vanderbilt showing interest.
The next scheduled trip for Dudek is for Wisconsin on March 16.
