Northwestern recently offered, joining Akron, Bowling Green, Ohio and Toledo. Passed for 1,254 yards and 16 touchdowns as a sophomore while rushing for another 559 yards and 10 scores.
-Evan Panfil, defensive end, New Lenox (Ill.) Lincoln-Way Central: Holds several offers from the likes of Ball State, Bowling Green, Colorado State, Toledo, Western Michigan and Wyoming, with Big Ten programs Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota and Purdue showing personal interest.
-JJ Stahl, receiver, Elkhart (Ind.) Central: Has been on the Illini radar going back to last fall.
-Ian Bunting, receiver/tight end, Hinsdale (Ill.) Central: Missed most of his sophomore season with an injury, but the 6-foot-7, 195-pound Bunting is having a big junior year and will be one of the state’s top prospects in 2014. Purdue has already offered.
