A source close to the situation confirmed with 247Sports that Walled Lake (Mich.) Western safety Joshua Jones committed to N.C. State.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Jones took an official visit to the Wolfpack campus this past weekend.
Recruited by Eddie Faulkner, Jones joins fellow Michigan product Kenton Gibbs of Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech in N.C. State's recruiting class.
Previously committed to Illinois, Jones also considered scholarships from Colorado and Pittsburgh.
As a senior, Jones registered 95 tackles and five interceptions.
