When it comes to length, strength, athleticism and skill, no prospect in the 2013 class can match Julius Randle.

Randle can be unguardable at times.
2013 Top 100 Basketball Recruits
Some forwards have his length, and some forwards come close to his skill level. But there isn't a player in the class that has the explosiveness of Randle. His combination of strength and athleticism is what separates him, and in particular, separates him from the other top forward in the class Jabari Parker.
Power forwards like Charles Barkley and Karl Malone changed the game with their combination of strength and athleticism. Randle is cut out of that same mold.
As for a comparison for Randle in today's game, think about a more athletic version of Zach Randolph.
Right behind Randle is the top point guard in the 2013 class Kasey Hill. Yes, Andrew Harrison has great strength and a feel for the game, but Hill has an extra gear and a easy quickness about his game that compares with Brandon Jennings.
Parker, who is considered the number one prospect by most services in the industry is a quality prospect in his own right. He has the intangibles, a rounded game and an instinct for rebounding. This potential Carmelo Anthony/Paul Pierce type comes in at No. 3 in the rankings.
At No. 4 is peer point guard Andrew Harrison. Think Chauncey Billups when considering Harrison. He has a tremendous feel for the game, gets to spots on the court and can manufacture buckets.
Right behind Harrison is the electric athlete Aaron Gordon. He has a place waiting for him in the NBA as a small forward type like Shaun Marion, Matt Barnes, Trevor Ariza.
Rounding out the prospects with grades of 100 or higher is Andrew Harrison's brother Aaron Harrison. The top wing scorer in the class, Harrison conjures up images of O.J. Mayo.
Then there is the wildcard in the class, 7-foot-5 center Mamadou Ndiaye. He was a dominant force at the NBA Players Association Top 100 Camp, and our expectation is that he will continue to dominate down the road. Besides his length, Ndiaye possesses an aggressive competitive streak and is quite mobile for his size.
247Sports hits the travel circuit in July starting with the Lebron James Skills Academy in Las Vegas this coming week. Stay tuned for updates, evaluations and further adjustments to the 2013 rankings.

Basketball people, does Texas have any chance at Randle or is he North Carolina bound for sure? Also could you realistically see us pulling Frazier or is he all UA. This recruiting cycle for our class is depressing me. I have no idea who we actually have a really good shot at getting.
