Chicago (Ill.) Julian defensive end Khairi Bailey has a top two of Purdue and Iowa State heading into the fall.
Planning to make a decision during his senior season, the 6-foot-3, 240-pound Bailey was back in West Lafayette on Friday taking a look at the Boilermakers campus.
“I have been up there four times already,” Bailey said. “I like the atmosphere of the school and the vibe you get on campus. It’s comfortable.
“I like what they do with their d-ends,” Bailey continued. “How they put them on the field and I like their coaching staff. I like Coach Danny Hope a lot.”
Bailey has never been to Iowa State but is looking to check out the Cyclones campus sometime over the next couple weeks.
“I don’t know much about Iowa State,” Bailey added. “I just want to go up there and take a look.”
Arizona State and Michigan State are two programs that Bailey is high on and keeps in touch with. Both have yet to offer.
Besides the schools mentioned, Bailey holds offers from Ball State, Northern Illinois, Western Kentucky and Western Michigan.
