Expected commitments at Semper Fi

On Jan. 3 Phoenix will host the inaugural Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl. The rosters are set and 247Sports will be on hand for the event to provide full coverage all week long.

Greg Garmon

Garmon is expected to announce between Iowa, Arkansas and Miami.

The list of rosters can be seen here.

There are several names being tossed around with expected announcements during the telecast, which can be seen live on CBS Sports Network.

Here's a list of potential names who may make a commitment, and the latest on their recruitment as we head to Phoenix.

Jeremiah Allison- Three-star LB (Los Angeles/Dorsey Calif.)

Allison stated earlier this week he doesn't believe he will make his announcement at the game. He is getting new interest from Stanford among others and will also visit UCLA again in January. His final five also includes Washington State, San Jose State and Nevada.

DeForest Buckner- Three-star DE (Honolulu/Punahou Hawaii)

Buckner is certain to make his announcement by his own account. He has only taken one official visit to Oregon and the Ducks appear to be in good shape at this time. Cal, Washington and UCLA are other schools showing heavy interest in the 6-foot-7, 240-pound defensive end.

Matt Cochran- Three-star OL (Atwater/Buhach Colony Calif.)

Avery Moss

The Huskers could be in line for a boost from defensive end Avery Moss.

Cochran also confirmed he is expecting to make his commitment at the Semper-Fi game on Jan. 3. He has two programs left on his list, Cal and Tennessee. The early buzz indicates Cal may be in great shape, but we'll continue to find out more during practice week and offer a final prediction.

Greg Garmon- Four-star RB (Erie/McDowell Pa.)

Garmon confirmed he will also make his college commitment during the game. Garmon has a host of offers but has narrowed it down to Arkansas, Iowa and Miami. The early feeling is Iowa may be the team to beat. Once again, we will continue to monitor this status during the week.

Alex Kozan- Four-star OT (Littleton/Valor Christian Colo.)

Kozan made a recent decision to wait on making his college announcement. Things could change and he might end up making his commitment, although that seems unlikely. Ohio State, Iowa and Auburn are among his finalists. If Ohio State will take him, he's likely a Buckeye.

Avery Moss- Three-star DE (Tempe/Corona Del Sol Ariz.)

Moss will make his choice between Nebraska and Purdue he confirmed. Moss is cousins with current Husker Todd Peat, and it appears they will be playing together on Saturdays.

Moana Ofahengaue- Three-star OLB (Manila/Westlake Utah)

Gehrig Dieter

Is the late offer from Charlie Weis enough to put Kansas over the top?

Ofahengaue will not be making his commitment at the game. He informed me earlier this week he still needs to take at least two more trips, possibly a third. Utah and Arizona are in a battle, with the USC Trojans possibly making a late offer. Utah looks like the team to beat right now.

Freddie Tagaloa- Four-star OT (Richmond/Salesian Calif.)

Tagaloa has already committed to Cal so this will be a formality. This will be his chance to do it on a national stage in front of a big audience. Tagaloa is a monster addition for the Bears who may be one of the top finishers in January.

Gehrig Dieter- Three-star WR (South Bend/Washington Ind.)

Dieter will also be making his decision between Kansas and SMU. Kansas made a late offer after the hire of Charlie Weis and may be the team to beat moving forward. Dieter would be a solid pickup for the Jayhawks.
