Johnson leads Montverde

Highland (Utah) Lone Peak High School's run through the City of Palms Classic came to a screeching halt when Montverde (Fla.) Academy took them down 66-45 in the championship game.

Johnson had a big tournament.

Most Valuable Player Dakari Johnson put up another double/double, scoring 10 points and grabbing 11 rebounds against Lone Peak.

Inside teammate Devin Williams, who had a strong tournament , went for 15 points and 11 rebound. 2014 five-star guard D'Angelo Rusell matched the West Virginia recruit with 15 points of his own.

Florida recruit Kasey Hill scored nine points and dished out six assists while also being credited for his defensive performance on Lone Peak point guard and BYU recruit Nick Emery.

Emery only managed eight points and four turnovers.

The high point man for Lone Peak was 2014 four-star prospect and BYU recruit T.J. Haws.

Four-star post player and BYU recruit Eric Mika lead Lone Peak with 10 rebounds but only managed five points.
