The USA 16U basketball squad has been finalized to a 12 man roster. Malik Newman will lead the squad into the June 11-15 FIBA Americas U16 Championship in Maldonado, Uruguay.

Thomas Bryant (Bishop Kearney H.S. / Rochester, N.Y.)
High energy big man with length who will likely come off the bench.
Terrance Ferguson (Prime Prep Academy / Flower Mound, Texas)
A 6-6 sharp shooter who will be a weapon off the bench.
Daniel Giddens (Wheeler H.S. / Mableton, Ga.)
A 6-10 athlete who will likely be the back up five man.
Harry Giles (Wesleyan Christian Academy / Winston-Salem, N.C.)
The top 2016 prospect in the country, Giles is the team's most talented forward.
Josh Jackson (Consortium College Prep / Southfield, Mich.)
Look for Jackson to get minutes due to his athleticism and versatility.
VJ King (St. Vincent - St. Mary H.S. / Akron, Ohio)
King is a wing with a scorer's mentality.
Malik Newman (Callaway H.S. / Jackson, Miss.)
The top talent and scorer on the squad, Newman will also likely play a lot of point guard.
Ivan Rabb (Bishop O’Dowd H.S. / Oakland, Calif.)
A superb athlete, Rabb will log heavy minutes primarily at the five position.
Devearl Ramsey (Sierra Canyon H.S. / Los Angeles, Calif.)
A high energy point guard with strength a great defensive abilities.
Diamond Stone (Dominican H.S. / Milwaukee, Wis.)
Stone is one of the better low post scorers on the team.
Jayson Tatum (Chaminade College Prep / St. Louis, Mo.)
Expect Tatum, who is a cerebral and skilled player, to play a lot of minutes at the three.
Seventh Woods (Hammond School / Columbia, S.C.)
A supreme athlete, Woods will likely serve as a spark off the bench.
