Trevor Walker chose Washington over Ole Miss and Vanderbilt.
Mansfield (Texas) Timberview safety Trevor Walker has an affinity for the Pacific Northwest. The three-star prospect committed to Washington State in April before opening his recruitment back up in June.
On Friday, the 6-foot-1, 185-pound defender held a press conference on Friday in front of family, friends, teammates and classmates to again announce a decision. After narrowing his choices to Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and Washington he is headed to the Pac-12.
“I committed to Washington,” Walker said. “I like it out there and just felt it was the right place for me. I’m excited to get up there and be a Husky.”
Walker is commitment No. 20 for Washington and the second from the state of Texas. He is currently ranked as the No. 50 safety in the country and the No. 108 prospect in Texas.
