Maryland's Trimble enters rankings

Romelo Trimble is having a strong season.

Recent Maryland commitment Romelo Trimble takes the No. 62 spot in the newly expanded 247Sports 2014 basketball rankings.

Trimble, who is a skilled and heady point guard, isn't the only committed prospect in the rankings.

The No. 1 ranking is occupied by Syracuse commit Chris McCullough. While the only other five-star committed player is No. 11 ranked Karl Towns Jr., who is committed to Kentucky.

Ohio State and North Carolina State are the only school with two recruits in the top 75 ranking. Ohio State commits Keita Bates-Diop and Jae'Sean Tate are No. 22 and No. 52 respectively.

Twins Cody Martin (No. 42) and Caleb Martin (No. 43) are committed to North Carolina State.

Other schools with ranked prospects are Louisville (No. 28 Quentin Snider), Baylor (No. 33 Leron Black), South Carolina (No. 36 Marcus Stroman), Virginia (No. 41 B.J. Stith), BYU (No. 49 T.J. Haws) and Xavier (No. 69 Melvin Swift).
