Alliance (Ohio) Marlington Future247 running back/safety Dymonte Thomas confirmed with 247Sports that he committed to Michigan on Saturday night while visiting the Wolverines campus for the Notre Dame game.
The 6-foot-1, 175-pound Thomas chose Michigan over several offers including the Irish, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, UCLA and West Virginia. Thomas has visited Ann Arbor several times in the past, and the Wolverines led for virtually the entire process.
Thomas is the second commit for Michigan in the class of 2013, joining fellow Future247 prospect, quarterback Shane Morris.
As a sophomore, Thomas rushed for close to 1,500 yards and 20 touchdowns.
