Tommy Tuberville landed three commits this past weekend.
New Cincinnati head coach Tommy Tuberville picked up three prep school commitments during his first weekend as the Bearcats’ head coach.
Safety Mike Tyson, cornerback Dominique Green and offensive lineman Dion Dawkins all committed to Cincinnati, according to BearcatLair.com.
Tyson is the No. 27 overall prep school prospect in the 2013 class and played high school football at Lake Taylor High in Norfolk, Va. He is projected as an outside linebacker long-term, but will play safety for the Bearcats, at least to start.
Dawkins played high school football at Rahway (N.J.). The 6-foot-5, 300-pounder is rated 78 by 247Sports, which equates to a high two-star rating.
Green played at Scotland High in Laurinburg, N.C., before heading to Hargrave for a season. The 5-foot-11, 175-pounder is rated 75 by 247Sports, which equates to a mid two-star.
