There is movement in the Class of 2013 Top247 yet again as nearly daily, additional talent across the country is uncovered by our recruiting team. Today’s update features a new No. 1 in the state of Florida, movement in Texas and several Michigan commits making jumps.

We are hard-pressed to find a cornerback with the skill level that five-star Vernon Hargreaves III has as a rising senior in high school.
Movers
Cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III (Tampa, Fla./Wharton) moved up to third nationally after further review of his film and additional feedback. We aren’t sure we’ve seen a more natural cornerback in several years and are having a hard time thinking of one during our years of covering recruiting. Hargreaves III also takes over the No. 1 spot in the state of Florida prospect rankings.
Jumbo athlete Ricky Seals-Jones (Sealy, Texas) is a 6-foot-5, 220-pounder that could play either side of the ball. After another in-person evaluation and further review of film, we determined Seals-Jones needed to move up significantly. He checks in at No. 33 overall and is the No. 5 overall prospect in the state of Texas.
We reviewed the film on safety Max Redfield (Mission Viejo, Calif.) again and determined that he should move up significantly. The 6-foot-3, 195-pounder now checks in at No. 35 overall and No. 2 in the state of California. Redfield is a hard-hitter with excellent range and size.
Offensive lineman Kyle Bosch (Wheaton, Ill./St. Francis) was part of a flurry of Michigan commits this past weekend. The 6-foot-5, 282-pounder is impressive on tape and moved up slightly to No. 42 overall.
There may not be a more athletic offensive lineman in the country than
Darius Latham (Indianapolis, Ind./North Central). The 6-foot-5, 270-pounder has huge upside and is a three-year starter on his school’s basketball team. Once he devotes all of his time to football (because he’s a multi-sport athlete, he only really works at football 3-4 months out of the year), he has tremendous potential. He moves up to No. 57 overall.
We had questions about speedy running back Alvin Kamara (Norcross, Ga.) to begin with concerning his size, but recently we were told he weighed in at 198 pounds at a junior day. With that being the case, given his electric ability on film, we feel he’s one of the top prospects not only in Georgia but in the country. Kamara makes his debut in the Top247 at No. 63 overall.
It’s an elite year at the cornerback position nationally and you can add Cole Luke (Chandler, Ariz./Hamilton) to the list. The 6-foot, 170-pounder stood out to us on film and recently his offer list has exploded. Oregon, Oklahoma, Texas and others are lining up for this talent from the Phoenix area.
Another recent Michigan commit, outside linebacker/jumbo athlete Taco Charlton (Pickertington, Ohio/Central) moves up approximately 50 spots in our Top247- checking in just inside the top 100 at No. 99. After further review of his film and comparing that to his size and athleticism, we felt like Charlton has the type of upside that could not only make him a star in Ann Arbor but also land him in the National Football League one day.
We really like recent Virginia Tech commit Holland Fisher (Midlothian, Va./Clover Hill). He is the type of versatile, fast-colliding player that fits in well with the Hokies’ scheme. After further review of his film, he checks in at No. 107 in our latest update.
After reviewing additional film on receiver Tony Stevens (Orlando, Fla./Evans), we felt like he was definitely a Top247 prospect. He checks in at No. 160 overall and could move again moving forward. Ohio State is one of the most recent offers for the 6-foot-3, 175-pounder.
A third Michigan commit to make a big move is offensive lineman David Dawson (Detroit, Mich./Cass Tech). He debuts in the Top247 at No. 195 after further film review.

Really wasn't that significant to be this early. There will be guys going up and down as more information is gathered on players, etc.
I will say that Elmer wasn't what we thought he would be at the Best of the Midwest Combine. That combined with further film evaluation- really the overall picture- caused the adjustment.
Now had he gone from No. 14 to out of the Top247- that's a pretty significant drop.

Confidence is still high but recent news that we haven't been in touch with him as much as you guys have us scratching or heads a bit. Even with the lack of contact we are still among his favorites. I would in no way say lock but it seems at this early stage FSU, UM and OU are going to be in a fight.
Hopefully once he gets down to Tally again we will pull out front and lock him up.
