Florida’s newest 2013 linebacker commitment, Lincoln County (Fla.)’s James Hearns, had already started receiving recruiting letters this time a year ago.

The 6-foot-3, 235-pound defensive end/linebacker then augmented his recruiting standing with a stellar showing at the National Underclassmen Football Combine in Tallahassee, Fla., last March, earning MVP honors for his class.
