Richard Benjamin commits to Louisville.
Louisville head coach Charlie Strong is no stranger to recruiting Florida and he has landed another talented prospect from the Sunshine State as three-star Richard Benjamin (Tampa, Fla./Middleton) pledged to the Cardinals during his official visit this weekend.
The commitment came as no surprise as Benjamin named Louisville his leader on Dec. 11.
Several aspects of his visit stood out.
"The people in the town," Benjamin told Mike Hughes of InsideTheVille.com. "Everywhere we went the people was really loving the players. The players stood out wherever they went. The coaches, the faculty and the facilities were all impressive. I really felt comfortable with all the guys from Florida."
Benjamin is the No. 67 overall prospect in Florida according to 247Sports.
