It’s amusing to Sporting News' Matt Hayes that we keep hearing Brian Kelly has some relationship work to do at Notre Dame after flirting with the NFL. That there are fences to mend and egos to stroke and no one is happy that Kelly nearly left for the NFL’s Eagles days after the Irish were whipped in the BCS National Championship Game.
The guy you’re mad at doesn’t have to mend fences. He’s busy fixing a broken down program, Hayes says.
