BEAVERTON, Ore. – For nearly a week, 18 of the top quarterback prospects from across the country gathered at the NIKE headquarters to work with former NFL quarterback Trent Dilfer as well as other experienced coaches.
Sean White was the top performer at Elite 11 as well as the MVP of The Opening.
Dilfer and the staff at the Elite 11 event had a chance to see all the passers in a variety of situations, including a 7-on-7 tournament that also coincided with The Opening, an event featuring over 150 of the top players from around the country.
After the Elite 11 championships concluded on Wednesday evening, the staff named a final “Elite 11” and one player was singled out as the MVP of the event. Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) University School’s Sean White, the only uncommitted passer at the event, took him top honors.
