Six more offers for Orlando Brown

Another week. Another batch of offers.

Orlando Brown

Brown plans to watch Florida play host to LSU.

So goes life these days for 2014 four-star offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. of Peachtree Ridge (Ga.).

The latest offers, which give him 30-plus, came from Boise State, Connecticut, Mississippi State, N.C. Sate, Ole Miss and Purdue, he said.

"From that group, Purdue stands out and N.C. State stands out," Brown told 247Sports. "Those are really good colleges. I know they've had good teams in the past and have players in the pros."

Since Sept. 1, the first day colleges could contact 2014 prospects through mail or online, the 6-feet-9, 360-pound Brown has heard from a long list of schools.

"It's been from all of the SEC, like Alabama and Auburn," Brown said. "And Florida State, Michigan, Ohio State and Clemson. I'm getting a ton of interest and stuff like that. A lot of game invites. The school that has written me the most as far as mail is the same as with a lot of guys. It's Florida State. I get mail from everybody, but I've still got mail from FSU I haven't opened yet because I got so much."

Brown planned to attend South Carolina's game last weekend, but couldn't make it.

"I was preparing for this week," he said. "We had a bye week, but I was pretty much studying film and all that. I'm definitely going to try to make it back for one of their next home games."

As for other visits, Brown was unsure of his schedule but said he hopes to be in Gainesville, Fla., on Oct. 6 when the Gators play host to LSU.

"I will be there," he said. "I'm interested in going to most of the colleges I visited this summer, like Florida, Alabama and Ohio State."

For now, Brown said there are no leaders. And he may not have any for awhile.

"I'm probably not going to narrow it down until the summer before my senior year," Brown said.
