Oregon State has snared a major commitment from former Georgia commit, Steven Nelson. The 6-foot-0, 185-pound corner from Visalia (Calif.) College of the Sequoias could come in and challenge for immediate playing time.

Nelson will enroll in Corvallis in early January.
Nelson is rated as the No. 16 overall JUCO player in America by 247Sports.
USC was one of several programs making a late push but Nelson said he felt most comfortable at Oregon State.
"Oregon State is a great fit for me," Nelson said. "I have some real big shoes to come in and try to fill behind some of the departing corners but I feel good about the situation I'm walking in to. I love the coaching staff and I just felt so comfortable with all of the players."
Nelson said he now considers himself done with the recruiting process and will enroll in Corvallis in early January.
"January 4 I'll be enrolling for school up there," he said. "This is it for me, I'm done with recruiting. I know where I want to play now."
The four-star back recently visited Houston, which he also considered, but decided Oregon State was the place for him.
Nelson is the nation's No. 16 overall JUCO prospect according to 247Sports, which numerically rates him a 94. He is originally from Warner-Robins, Ga.
