Syracuse nailed down its first recruit in the 2013 class by landing long time target Tyler Ennis.
A 6-2, 180-pound point guard, Ennis announced on Thursday evening his intention to attend Syracuse. The Orange Men have recruited Ennis ever since he first hit the recruiting scene, and Ennis has been expected to eventually choose Syracuse.
A Canadian playing at Newark (N.J.) St. Benedict's Prep, Ennis is a heady player with a great feel for the game. He is adept with either hand, plays under control, shoots well and is an efficient finisher in the paint.
He is the No. 6 ranked point guard and the No. 36 ranked prospect overall by 247Sports.
