Thanks for the update Steve. Do you feel Michigan has a solid chance at landing him? The secondary of him, Terry Richardson, Jarrod Wilson, Standifer and Gant would make a nice secondary to go with Countess and 2013 Thomas!

I absolutely do, and his visit to Ann Arbor should only strengthen the Wolverines chances. He really likes Coach Mattison and Coach Mallory. Rutgers will be tough to beat and I wouldn't be surprised to see another program make a late move here, but the Wolverines are in great shape at this point.

Have you seen any impact on recruiting, at least w.r.t. the elite kids, in terms of prospects being hesitant to choose schools that might get left out of an AQ conference post-realignment? The six remaining Big East football schools, in particular, are in a precarious position right now. Do prospects like Wright appear to be factoring that in at all or not really? TIA.

I haven't heard it come up yet. I would imagine it will at some point.

His high school is a half hour away from Rutgers. The Scarlet Knights staff has been recruiting him for years. Not surprising that Rutgers would be a finalist for a Jersey kid.
