LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla.- Practice for the 2012 Under Armour All-American Game is in the books. Tuesday, we broke down Team Blur’s top players by position. Today, it’s Team Highlight. The game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and will be televised live on ESPN.

Connor Brewer has impressed every day during Team Highlight's practices.
Quarterback
1- Connor Brewer, Scottsdale (Ariz.) Chaparral
Of the three quarterbacks on the Team Highlight roster, the Texas commitment did the best job of picking up the offense and getting the ball in the hands of the playmakers this week in the practice settings. His ability to read defenses and quickly get the ball out of his hands in the intermediate passing game has impressed every day.
2- Chad Kelly, Buffalo (N.Y.) St. Josephs
Physically, Kelly is only behind Jameis Winston (Team Blur) among all the quarterbacks in the Under Armour Game. He has a live arm, very good feet and underrated athleticism. With that, the Clemson commit has thrown the ball somewhat erratically this week and isn’t as consistent as he needs to be.
Running back
1- Johnathan Gray, Aledo (Texas)
Even though Gray, a Texas commit, is at less than 100 percent because of fluid build-up on his knee, Gray has been the most impressive running back prospect on either roster in the game during the practices. His near-perfect body type, terrific feet and ability to get to top-end speed in an instant- just as it did at Aledo High the last three years.

Ohio State defensive end commit Noah Spence showed a quick first-step get-off and ability to close on the ball.
2- Duke Johnson, Miami (Fla.) Norland
Similar to another highly-rated running back in the 2012 class, Texas A&M commit Trey Williams, Johnson does not posses the ideal size for the position, but more than makes up for it with his special feet and athleticism. His ability to change direction and dart to the second level has been very impressive all week. Johnson is committed to Miami (Fla.).
Wide receiver/tight end
1- Angelo Jean-Louis, Palm Beach (Fla.) Central
Combining size, natural strength and speed, Jean-Louis may be the most complete receiver in the game from a physical standpoint. The Miami (Fla.) commit’s ability to get off of press coverage has surprised us this week, while his extra gear to go get the ball is something we’ve seen since before his junior season at Palm Beach Central.
2- Thomas Johnson, Dallas (Fla.) Skyline
The Texas commit is the best route runner on either roster. He’s a pure slot receiver prospect. His ability to stick his foot in the ground and instantly separate sets him apart from other receivers in the game. While he has been a body catcher at times in the past, he’s done a much better job of catching the ball with his hands, arms extended this week.
3- Jalen Cope-Fitzpatrick, Rocklin (Calif.) Whitney

Missouri commit, Evan Boehm, is quite possibly the most physical offensive lineman in the game.
Cope-Fitzpatrick, a USC commit, is an excellent blend of size and athleticism physically, and this week proved to be more advanced in the passing game than what was once believed. He has soft hands, good speed and runs excellent routes. His stock rose this week for sure.
4- Cayleb Jones, Austin (Texas) S.F. Austin
Jones impressed with his toughness, practicing despite a turf toe injury that has slowed him down. While the Texas commit has struggled to get off of press coverage, his ability to go get the football has impressed as it always has. He seemingly made at least one very tough catch every day.
5- Sterling Shepard, Oklahoma City (Okla.) Heritage Hall
Like Johnson, Shepard is a very good slot receiver prospect. The Oklahoma commit showed good hands and quality ball skills throughout the practice sessions and really came on the last two days of practice. His strength in his lower body has proven to be underrated this week.
Offensive line
1- Evan Boehm, Lee Summit (Mo.) West
Boehm, who is committed to Missouri, is quite possibly the most physical offensive lineman in the game. He has proven to have a powerful punch, stayed square in pass protection and shown better feet than expected.
2- Curtis Riser, Desoto (Texas)
Riser has impressed us at every event he has taken part in during the last year. This week, Riser showed that he is advanced in pass protection with very quick feet and quality knee bend. As he gets stronger, the Texas commit has a chance to be a very good run blocker and a complete offensive guard at the collegiate level.
3- Kennedy Estelle, Pearland (Texas) Dawson
Estelle is the most athletic offensive tackle in the game, but must add lower body strength to reach his extremely high ceiling. His feet, foot quickness, knee bend, ankle flexibility and hip flexibility have been very impressive this week in pass protection. His ability to pull from the tackle position makes him an elite prospect.
4- Andrus Peat, Tempe (Ariz.) Corona Del Sol
When looking at Peat compared to other tackle prospects in the game, he’s a little behind in terms of feet, body quickness and reactive quickness. As he builds strength and reshapes his body a bit at the next level, he has the chance to develop into a solid player, possible at right tackle. Peat has not made a verbal commitment yet, but Nebraska (where his older brother plays), Stanford and others are in the mix.
Defensive end
1- Noah Spence, Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDevitt
Spence, who is committed to Ohio State, showed the quick first-step get-off and ability to close on the ball that we have seen on film numerous times. His strength and physicality combined with his edge-rush ability provide him with the chance to be a dominant weak-side defensive end at the next level.
2- Leonard Williams, Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland
Williams is one of the players we were excited to see coming into the week and he more than impressed. The versatile defensive linemen, that could play end or eventually grow into a tackle, has a tremendous frame and while he is somewhat raw playing defensive line at a high level, we don’t believe it will take very much experience practicing the game at the college level for him to make an impact. Florida and others are chasing Williams, who is uncommitted.
3- Jordan Jenkins, DE, Harris County (Ga.)
The state of Georgia’s top prospect has the longest wingspan in the game and is one of the best edge-rusher prospects on either roster. Jenkins’ ability to dip the inside shoulder, gain leverage and turn the corner impressed every day of practice. He also showed more leg strength and drive than what was initially thought. That being said, he’s still poised to develop that much more in college physically. Monday is decision day for Jenkins, who is believed to be deciding between Alabama and Georgia.
4- Ifeadi Odenigbo, DE, Centerville (Ohio)
While Adenigbo has a long way to go in terms of filling out his frame and adding strength, he may have had the most complete week of any defensive end. Typically, prospects that are undersized up front in this type of setting can rush the passer well, but Adenigbo, who is expected to pick Stanford, Northwestern or Notre Dame, impressed the coaching staff and others with his ability to play the run.
Defensive tackle
1- Malcom Brown, DT, Brenham (Texas)
Brown is the most athletic defensive tackle prospect in the game, if Mario Edwards is considered a defensive end. His first-step get off was impressive as well as his natural strength and leg drive. Once he learns to use his hands more consistently and finish plays more consistently, the Texas commit will be a dominant defensive tackle. His pad level impressed.
2- Eddie Goldman, Washington (D.C.) Friendship Collegiate
With an increased effort and intensity level, Goldman had his best practice on Tuesday. His initial punch and strength is very impressive in person. The key for Goldman is going to be his development in a college. Alabama, Florida State and now Maryland appear to be the teams to watch in his recruitment. He’s expected to narrow it down to three in the near future.
Linebackers
1- Joe Bolden, Cincinnati (Ohio) Colerain
One of the least-publicized players entering the week, the Michigan commit was a hit from the first day on with his instincts and underrated feet and athleticism standing out. Bolden also was a sponge to the coaching given and by all accounts is a future leader of the Wolverines‘ defense. Bolden currently is 220 pounds, but has the frame to add 15-20 more in time.
2- Noor Davis, Leesburg (Fla.)
It comes without surprise that Davis, a Stanford commit, is a smart football players that diagnoses plays and is rarely out-of-position. He was especially good this week in covering the screen game from his weakside linebacker position. Davis is listed at 235 pounds and looks bigger than that. He’s a player that feel like could end up as a big linebacker or perhaps a defensive end long-term.
3- Peter Jinkens, Dallas (Texas) Skyline
Without question, Jinkens, a Texas commit, is the most athletically-gifted linebacker in the game. Playing SAM this week, he has shown the ability to blanket tight ends in coverage and when asked to only make one read, his quickness and athleticism is on full display.
4- Dalton Santos, Van (Texas)
The 6-foot-3, 257-pounder has backed up his reputation as a downhill run-fit thumper. We expect Santos to be a quality first and second down run-stuffer at the next level. Santos currently is committed to Tennessee, but is considering Arkansas (he has an official visit set up) with Texas A&M also a possibility.
Cornerbacks
1- Davonte Neal, Scottsdale (Ariz.) Chaparral
Easily the most talented cornerback prospect on Team Highlight, Neal is the most versatile player in the game. In fact, this week, he’s lined up at receiver more than cornerback because of injuries, but in limited reps at corner, has shown the change-of-direction and ball skills of a big time corner. He’s one of the best players pound-for-pound in the game and the Class of 2012. Ohio State, Arkansas, Notre Dame and others are chasing Neal, who is wide open at this point.
2- Joshua Holsey, Fairburn (Ga.) Creekside
Holsey excelled in press coverage all week and showed good ball skills and hands in defensive back drills. We feel like the Auburn commit is quicker than he is fast and that showed when beaten over the top in recovery situations. That being said, Holsey had a productive week in coverage and we expect him to also excel in run support because of his physical nature at the position.
3- Bryson Echols, Desoto (Texas)
Despite battling a slightly-strained hamstring, Echols quickness and change-of-direction ability impressed. After a slow start to the week, Echols stayed attached in coverage for the most part during the last two days, drawing praise from Deion Sanders (who was helping coach the defensive backs) for his toughness in coverage. Echols is committed to Texas.
4- Terry Richardson, Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech
Richardson, a Michigan commit, impressed everyone with his sponge-like attitude to coaching and his ability to implement that on the field. His quickness and ability to change direction impressed, but he will have to add significant strength in both the upper and lower body to reach his full potential at the college level.
Safeties
1- Landon Collins, Geismar (La.) Dutchtown
Collins, who will pick Alabama or LSU on Thursday night during the broadcast, was everything we thought he would be considering his best asset is playing the run and that ability likely will show up more during the game than at any point during the practices. His hands were impressive and his strength is unmatched at the position naturally.
2- Chaz Elder, College Park (Ga.) Banneker
Elder is tall, rangy and instinctive and a playmaker with impressive ball skills. While his name wasn’t as well-known as others during the week, he made his mark on the practice field, earning high praise from his coaches and Sanders. Elder will make his decision Thursday night. He is expected to pick Georgia or South Carolina.
