Kansas hasn't caught Kentucky yet in the 2013 recruiting race. But with the commitment of Wayne Selden, Kansas has caught everyone else.

Selden is powerful and versatile
When Selden, ranked No. 23 by 247Sports and No. 19 in the 247Composite, committed to the Jayhawks, Kansas' recruiting class vaulted past every recruiting class other than Kentucky's class.
A 6-5, 213-pound three-position perimeter player out of the Tilton (N.H.) School, Selden opted for Kansas after his official visit during "Late Night in the Phog" festivities.
Physically imposing, Selden is both explosive and skilled. He is a strong rebounder and effective defender as well. At Kansas he will play a variety of rolls.
Selden joins high scoring wing Brannen Greene (No. 15), sharp shooter Conner Frankamp (No. 38) and defensive minded point guard Frank Mason (No. 101) in the Kansas recruiting class.
Now the big challenge for Coach Bill Self is to find one or more interior players to go with the foursome of perimeter players.
On the wish list are No. 1 ranked Julius Randle, No. 6 ranked Aaron Gordon, No. 18 ranked Jermaine Lawrence and No. 76 ranked Joel Embiid.
Gordon and Embiid visited Kansas last week alongside Selden. Randle and Lawrence are expected to visit before making their college decisions.
