The West continues to see coaches on campus making offers to some of the top players. One of the big story lines this mid-week was the rash of offers from Boise State and Utah coaches to the players at Compton (Calif.) Dominguez high.

Brandon Beaver was one of the prospects at Dominguez that added offers from Utah and Boise State yesterday.
Cornerback Brandon Beaver added offers from both programs today. Beaver now has 14 total offers. He also spoke about his recent trip to Washington in this update posted on 247Sports: Link
Safety Alphonso Marsh was also offered by both programs. He also visited Washington with teammate Brandon Beaver and look for an article soon on 247Sports. Marsh now has eight total offers.
Offensive tackle Lacy Westbrook was not left out of the offer spree. The 6-foot-5, 300-pound prospect has around ten offers and could be in line for a big spring.
Defensive end Dejon Allen was offered by both programs as well. The 6-foot-3, 255-pound prospect is attracting a heavy buzz in the last few weeks.
Defensive end Damion Turpin was offered by Utah only, but said Boise State is showing heavy interest. The 6-foot-3, 250-pound prospect also has around ten offers and is seeing a spike in his recruitment this spring.
Outside linebacker Lavell Sanders did not get an offer from either program but said each program has high interest. The 6-foot-1, 210-pound prospect could be one of the sleepers in this class. He currently has three offers from ASU, NAU and Cal-Poly. USC has invited him to their Rising Stars camp later this spring.
There are several other mid-week notes that also took place not on the campus at Dominguez.
Chandler (Ariz.) Hamilton safety Reggie Daniels said USC, UCLA, Notre Dame, Michigan, Boise State, New Mexico and NAU have stopped by recently. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect has eight offers and recently said Notre Dame, Arkansas and Oregon State were recruiting him the hardest.

Derrick Woods is one of the top receivers in the West and has the offer list to back that up.
Puyallup (Wash.) offensive tackle Joshua Garnett said Washington, Notre Dame, Auburn and Oklahoma have been on campus recently. The star lineman is the No. 40 ranked player in the nation, according to 247Sports.
Lakewood (Calif.) wide receiver Malik Gilmore said Notre Dame, Cal, Fresno State and Miami have been on campus recently. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound prospect is one of the top wide outs in the West.
Lakewood (Calif.) wide receiver Derrick Woods secured his spot at the Army All American game this week by accepting. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound prospect said USC, UCLA, Oklahoma and Florida were on campus recently. All have offered the Nation's No. 109 ranked player.
Pierce C.C. (Calif.) safety Gerald Bowman added an offer from Nebraska yesterday. Oregon was also on campus Monday to check on the 6-foot-1, 210-pound prospect.
Encinitas (Calif.) La Costa Canyon offensive tackle Erik Magnuson added a new offer from Oklahoma yesterday. Cincinnati, Boise State and Washington State were also on campus this week. Last week USC, Tennessee, Utah, UCLA and Arizona visited the nation's No. 85 ranked prospect.
Florida offensive coordinator Charlie Weis was on campus at Corona Del Sol (Ariz.)Tuesday to visit Andrus Peat. On Monday Michigan, Notre Dame, Arizona State and Auburn were also on campus. Yesterday, the USC Trojans and the UCLA Bruins were also on campus to watch Peat.
Two quarterbacks went off the board within the last week.
The Wisconsin Badgers snared a verbal commitment from Concord (Calif.) De La Salle quarterback Bart Houston. Kyle Heikkinen has an update on Badger247 listed here: Badger247
The Washington Huskies picked up a commitment from in-state quarterback Jeffrey Lindquist of Mercer Island. Lindquist is a 6-foot-3, 225-pound prospect with multiple scholarship offers. Here's a link on his commitment
