Stone Mountain (Ga.) defensive end Jonathan Wynn committed to Vanderbilt on Tuesday evening.
Wynn, a 6-foot-4, 217-pounder, also had offers from South Carolina, Clemson and Wake Forest.
He visited the Commodores last weekend after getting an offer last month.
“I just loved the place,” Wynn said. “I was walking around Nashville thinking to myself, I can do really great at this place.”
As a junior, Wynn tallied 51 tackles with 5.5 sacks.
Wynn had visited Clemson, Georgia and Georgia Tech this spring as well.
His pledge gives Vanderbilt four pledges for the ’13 class and, coupled with the recent commitment of Macon (Ga.) Central linebacker Nigel Bowden, boosts the Commodores’ class to No. 24 in the 247Sports team rankings.
