Saint John (Ind.) Lake Central running back David Yancey is coming off a strong junior season where he rushed for 2,130 yards and 27 touchdowns in earning Duneland Conference MVP honors.
The 5-foot-11, 205-pound Yancey proved in early January that he could hold his own among the nation's best, earning 247Sports All-Combine Honors at the U.S. Army National Combine in San Antonio, Texas.
Wyoming has already offered Yancey, and he feels a few more could soon be on the way.
"I will be making junior days to Minnesota, Purdue, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Toledo, Ball State, Vanderbilt and more to come," Yancey said. "The few I have named are potential offers at the Junior Day."
Yancey has 4.5 second speed in the 40-yard dash, runs a 4.29 shuttle and has a 34-inch vertical.
