Mary lee, the 3500 GW shark has passed Savanah on her way south. She's just a little off shore the northern barrier islands heading towards St Simon.... http://sharks-ocearch.verite.com/ type in her name and path for past week and you can watch her habits. It's awesome. I donated to the research today.

Scary, this monster fish pinged on the radar off I-95 in the woods at about 2 am last night. I would have shit my pants if I was some south georgia moonshiner doing my job in the woods and a 3500 lb great white walks into camp

430 est and now she is probably 8-10 miles off shore of Fernadina beach. I love tracking her. I wonder if she will head to the deep waters of the gulf. She is mating age and that is believed to be a mating grounds.
I've watched a show on this tagging off the waters of Cape Cod. This is very new habitat for them and they are always getting close to bathers. Theres a newly developed seal population right there drawing the sharks to those waters. This ground is more like south africa and australia where the sharks are close to shore where bathers are then say Guadalupe island or san francisco where few/no swimmers are

She's been hanging well offshore for a couple days but made a bee-line towards the coast line yesterday. Last pinged at midnight a couple miles off the beach and headed straight west towards the beach. She could be eating bathers as we speak....
Actually misread path. Shes back off Georgia Barrier islands right now, 10 miles off shore last night

I saw someone post that the pilot whales birth off the coast this time of the year. That would make sense, as white follow the whales calving season into the sea of cortez
