  • It really doesn't matter to me. If I had to pick then I would say on screen. and I would play occasionally not all the time though.

I am torn. The bionic and the thunderbolt are nearly equal hardware wise from what i have seen. I will just have to make a decision at that time. I am hoping if there are any problems with the bionic that they show themselves within the first few months so that if i decide to get one nothing will cause an FML moment right off the bat

If you play with both phones, I think you'll fall in love with the Thunderbolt. I know I did .. and that's why I bought it. I'm not the best person to ask in regards to the Bionic, because I'm sort of 'over' Motorola. I had the Droid X and the Droid X2 and they both gave me lagging issues. Both me and my girlfriend had the same phones, and at the same exact time, they started to lag and shut off on its own .. and reboot. It was really really frustrating. I also had another Motorola that did the same thing (bout three years ago .. cant remember the name of the phone)

Funny thing is, the only Motorola that never gave me any fits was the Razr lol

On a serious note though, I'm a HUGE fan of HTC. I love the Sense look and feel. I wish my Thunderbolt had a dual core processor, but it's far from slow .. so I guess I can live with it.

What is the difference between the dual and single core besides the speed difference i guess?

The way it was explained to me was .. think of a computer. Intel Pentium Processors are obviously the way to go, but if you purchase a home computer with an AMD processor, it wouldn't necessarily be 'bad' .. it just wouldn't be able to run as many programs (at the same high speeds) as a Pentium processor would.

From your comments on not really needing the best of the best of whats out right now, I'd direct you towards the HTC. But I'm admittedly biased. It's very user friendly (so is the Motorola though) and sexier to me. It's got a smooth, sleek look to it.

Thanks! My mom recently got the Thunderbolt and the only fault I can find with it is the battery, but I can fix that problem by purchasing the larger battery

  • The Bionic is cool. You can access any of your files from your laptop or desktop computer and you can print to a wireless printer from the phone as well. The only issue I am having with the phone is I am constantly losing my 3G/4G. Which is a big pain in the butt.
