    If you play with both phones, I think you'll fall in love with the Thunderbolt. I know I did .. and that's why I bought it. I'm not the best person to ask in regards to the Bionic, because I'm sort of 'over' Motorola. I had the Droid X and the Droid X2 and they both gave me lagging issues. Both me and my girlfriend had the same phones, and at the same exact time, they started to lag and shut off on its own .. and reboot. It was really really frustrating. I also had another Motorola that did the same thing (bout three years ago .. cant remember the name of the phone)

    Funny thing is, the only Motorola that never gave me any fits was the Razr lol

    On a serious note though, I'm a HUGE fan of HTC. I love the Sense look and feel. I wish my Thunderbolt had a dual core processor, but it's far from slow .. so I guess I can live with it.

    Now that Google has bought Motorola, I'd expect a lot of those issues to clear up.

    I'd also expect Motorola over the next year so to really have an advantage in updates, phones, etc. they should be pumping out impressive stuff

  • Just got the Samsung Galaxy S2 epic. Going through the market trying to restock on apps. If you work/hang around a lot of immature people like I do, or just have certain things on your phone you don't want any old person to see I recommend downloading Hide It Pro. Once you download it the program changes names so it won't be obvious, and when someone tries to get into a program you don't want them to have access to it fakes a crash screen and to get past it you need to know a pin code. You can also hide files, and entire programs if your phone is rooted, so people won't even be able to see them without your pin code. If you just want to cheat on your girl then download black book. It creates a hidden phone book and phone log that can't be accessed without a pin code so you don't have to worry about leaving your phone out around your girl. Go SMS is a text program I like, it also allows you to hide text conversations, as well was put your texts behind a password.

    Edit: FYI .. I already hate you for grabbing the GS2. It was all but guaranteed to be a Verizon exclusive until they dropped the ball. Now they're the only one of the major cell phone carriers that dont carry the phone. grumble

    I've used it and at first I loved it. But after awhile my phone began to slow down and lag. I deleted the app and it fixed it.

    I'm from Pensacola.

    I'm liking the Galaxy so far, but I think part of the reason I like it so much is my last phone was insanely obsolete. Going from the HTC Hero to Samsung Galaxy is a major jump. So I'm not exactly comparing the Galaxy to the Evo or something similar.

    They all work without your phone being rooted. But if you get Hide it and want to use it to hide an entire program then you need to have your phone rooted first.

  • I have and like the Bionic. The only issue I have is the 3G/4G going out. It is a pain and not sure if Verizon knows if this is a problem or not. Other than that it's a great phone.
